Campbell Soup Company has redesigned the packaging of its Pace salsa container for club store channel. The new package moves from a single 64-ounce polypropylene jug to a new 38-ounce polyethylene terephthalate jar that will be sold as a 'dog bone' double pack.
Campbell Soup company has reported net sales of $2.15bn for the second quarter of fiscal 2010, compared to $2.12bn for the same quarter prior year. EBIT for the quarter was $391m compared with $355m in the prior-year quarter.

Frontier Soups, an Illinois-based provider of gourmet soups, based in Illinois, said that its Party Starter Mix and Taco Dip Mix is now available throughout US at Omaha Steak stores, along with Frontier Soups Hearty Meal and International Collection gourmet soup mixes. The company said that all these mixes are available for $65.
UK-based food company Symington’s and its partner and chef Ainsley Harrriott have created a new range of flavours in cup soup format, called Classic Creations. The first two products from the Ainsley Harriott Classic Creations range, Cream of Tomato and Minestrone, are available in Tesco Express stores from the end of January.
Campbell Soup has said that it will continue sodium reduction efforts across its portfolio and supports the intent of the proposal by the New York City Department of Health.
